Deb's cabin is beautiful. The area and her farm is a unbelievable respite from reality. I was only able to stay for 1 night, but can't wait to stay there again and bring the wife. The sunrise over the field is truly unbelievable. Deb and her place were both outstanding. We were pleasantly greeted upon arrival and everything was even better than the photos and description. Deb went above and beyond for us; she even let us borrow her Anderson East CD to listen to on the way to the Jack Daniel's Distillery and let us meet all her animals including cats, dogs, horses and a cow.

I highly recommend this place to anyone trying to relax and get away from it all! This was a wonderful experience. We spent weeks online trying to find a small farm to stay on, one with some small farm animals for our little ones and cove-like farm views for the grown-ups. When I first found Shadows Drifting, it was like my dream location came out of my brain and onto the webpage.

It sits on a farm, close to the host's home but with enough privacy to still have an intimate experience.

There is a short, cleared trail on the property to an amazing waterfall with tiered pools and streams that seem to continue endlessly up the side of the mountain. There are also beautiful rock formations nearby if you're up for a trek through the brush. Within short driving distance is Greeter Falls, Broad Tree Falls, and Stone Door which are all beautiful natural rock and water formations that make for a great day trip and exhilarating hike.

Deb is a fantastic host. She had the cabin prepared for us with a beautiful bouquet of flowers from her property, fresh eggs from her chickens, and gave us ample information about the land and nearby attractions.

Deb gives you plenty of privacy and space but she was so nice and kind that we enjoyed talking with her throughout our stay. She let us see the farm and her animals, we gathered fresh eggs, and picked fresh strawberries from her garden, she even took some great photos of us at the cabin. Overall this trip was wonderful and we loved Deb, the cabin and the beautiful scenery.

We have no qualms with anything about the cabin or property but will note for future guests that the cabin is quite small and probably not ideal for more than two people who share a bed. The bed is lofted and requires some agility to get in and out.

The cabin, to our delight, is also far removed from civilization and is about a min drive to get groceries or eat dinner but if you come prepared you won't have to venture far. We would highly recommend staying at Deb's cabin and will be returning ourselves for another vacation soon. This shipping container home was a wonderful place to say. The Millers are both easy to talk to and very friendly, and love offering up advice about the area.

The bed was comfortable and the property was gorgeous. Make sure to visit the falls, it is well worth the short walk! If I'm ever in the area again, which is pretty likely considering all of the great areas to go hiking, I'll be hoping for a few more nights at this cabin!

My husband and I really enjoyed staying the night at this Airbnb after a 10 mile hike on the Fiery Gizzard trail. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and the setting was quite serene.
